I Can Feel It
by Patty Betlach Russell

His voice is in the gentle breeze
that whispers a message...
Do you hear it?

He is watching from heaven as
the clouds paint pictures on an
endless canvas...
Do you see it?

His love shines through in the
sparkle of his grandchildren's eyes...
Do you feel it?

His spirit will be in the music,
the song and the words...
I can hear it.

He's around all of us;
in the warm memories of happy times
and special smiles...
I can see it.

When you need him, send a whisper...
the gentle breeze will carry it across the
painted canvas of an endless sky.
He will feel it.

A letter I got from Rudy while he was in the Navy
Rudy,
Big Brother,
This is the hardest thing I have ever done in my
life....losing you for the second time.

My only comfort in this painful journey is in the
knowing....that you are with our mom and dad
and with
our Blessed Lord.

We will do our best to carry on without you in a
way that would make you proud of all of us.

And we will rejoice and celebrate the love that
you gave to each of us.

I love you with all my heart,
Your sister,
Patty

My blindness is my sight
The shadows that I feared so long
Are all alive with light..."

Ascension

And if I go
While you're still here....
Know that I live on
Vibrating to a different measure
Behind a veil you cannot see through.

You will not see me,
so you must have faith.
I wait for the time when we can
soar together again
both aware of each other.

Until then, live life to its fullest!
When you need me, just whisper
my name in your heart...

I will be there.

Our hearts still ache with sadness and secret tears still flow,
what it meant to lose you,
know no one will ever know.
