Albert F. Dusek, 84, of
Sauk Centre, died
Saturday, April 20, 1996,
at St. Michael‘s Nursing
Home, Sauk Centre.
Funeral services were April
22 at Our Lady of the
Angels Catholic Church,
Sauk Centre. Rev. Bernard
Kahlhamer officiating with
interment in Calvary
Cemetery.
Albert Dusek was born
April 13, 1912, in
Owatonna, Minn. To Peter
and Mary (Wanous)
Dusek. He married Marie
Thieschafer Oct. 25, 1938
at St. Joseph s Catholic
Church, Grey Eagle. The
couple lived in Sauk
Centre where Al was
employed as a boilerman
for Swift and Company for
29 years. In 1955 he
became employed by
Bromen Implement as a
television repair man. He
retired in 1995 after 38
years repairing televisions
in the Sauk Centre area.
He was a member of Our
Lady of the Angels Catholic
Church, Bishop Busch
Council 2863 Knights of
Columbus and Sauk Centre
Seniors.
He is survived by his wife,
Marie Dusek of Sauk
Centre; daughter, Sister
Linda Dusek, OSB of St.
Cloud and sister, Elizabeth
Finken of Sauk Centre.
He was preceded in death
by his parents; brothers,
Jerome, Dan and Adolph
Dusek; sisters, Mary
Merten, Rose Odegard and
infant sister, Elizabeth
Dusek.
Pallberarers were Jerome
Dusek, Jr., Elmer Finken,
Tony Merten, Gary Kruzel,
Victor and Norbert
Odegard. Honorary
pallbearers were Tom and
Vern Bromen, Leon
Roelike, Al Trisko, Jim and
Howard Flowers. Cross
bearer was Dennis Froh.
Arrangements were made
with Patton-Schad Funeral
Service, Sauk Centre.
